S for Sandalwood

This oil is all about balancing any dryness that has occurred.  So good for mature skin, rashes or scars. If you have a dry cough or feel a tickle in your throat pop this on your neck and onto your lymphatic nodes to help soothe and hydrate. Its chemical makeup makes it an anti inflammatory so good for varicose veins and swollen lymph nodes. Sandalwood has a great affinity with the sacral chakra highlighting its connection with systems found in that area and circulation further south.  It boost  reproductive and urinary systems reportedly helping low testosterone, so an aphrodisiac and UTI's relating to the latter.

The oil's vibration is associated with not the essential needs of life that is synonymous with the root chakra but the sweetness and joy of life...pleasure, sexuality, nurture, movement and change relating to next step up in life's pyramid of hierarchical needs.  In regards to helping to find the sweetness in life, it also has been beneficial for depression and aiding sleep.

Here we find a hand photo with the bladder reflex depicted with an yellow oval then we walk with little steps up the palmistry line that corresponds to the ureters that join the bladder to the kidney found underneath my thumb.  As before this hand shows reflexes for your left hand side and you would do the same for your right.  it is recommended to do it as a circuit always finishing with the bladder so the toxins in the urine are flowing down the system towards the exit.

Using a drop of your sandalwood from your box will make working the system easier and give an extra boost when required.

On an emotional level kidneys are sometimes weakened by fear and bladder by disillusionment. A lady called Louise Hay has written books about the correlation of different conditions with forms of emotion experienced.  Evidence of this was shown to be right when I developed a Reflexology treatment for parents to learn to treat their children suffering with Enuresis (bedwetting).
