L is for Lemon

A jolly vibrant oil, when asking clients to describe it through its aroma, before knowing what it was, one was taken back to their childhood and old fashioned lemonade. Others thought of spring, a gin & tonic and another of a good detox.

Physically it has been seen to help reduce temperature therefore an alternative to Peppermint. A household cleanser.... described as magic to remove permanent marker I was told but haven't tried it myself and for removing sticky labels after purchasing a new item like golf clubs...both on the same video online!  Has also helped removing mould more naturally than some cleaners I bought previously and a few drops with water in a spray bottle cleans worktops beautifully with its antiviral and antimicrobial properties and smells lovely too.

It can help to balance the ph in digestion when acid gets overbearing from the stomach. My husband felt less discomfort after a few drops in a capsule internally.  Works beautifully with Clary sage to boost the lymphatic system's circulation and also to help combat infection.

Mentally it helps with focus especially when trying to get a project completed... I used this in a diffuser with a few drops of basil a couple of days ago and crikey the words flowed far more effectively than on days  without it.

Here is the reflex point for the spleen an important part of our immune and lymphatic system... as you can see it is at the same level of the hand and therefore the body as the liver but on the other side.  More specifically the spleen is found under our diaphragm and covers the area of zone 4 and 5 (in line with 4th and 5th fingers) going across and the area that the thumb in the photo covers  in depth.  Work this organ as with the liver with small precise compressions.

As you may guess it is within our Solar plexus chakra, like the liver and so vibrates yellow and so would work well with the Lemon oil to make a perfect combination to help boost.
