H is for Helichrysum

This oil is an extraordinary and has been called Liquid gold! 

My first extraordinary experience with Helichrysum was on a gentleman who was at his daughter's birthday I'd arrived to do an Essentials experience session - when each guest in the group smells an array of essential oils and through intuition and discussion finds their favourite 3 to make into a blend to take home. The Dad had been suffering with a nose bleed for 20 minutes before I arrived. We popped this oil on his index fingers and he applied it just below the bridge of his nose;  and the bleeding stopped. 

Another term associated with this oil is invisible stitches; so this was the other oil I used on my ewe to heal her leg wound... as described on the Copaiba page.. the transformation was such a relief. 

My own experience with the oil was after I caught my hand on a nail in the barn and it torn the skin, the application of this oil sealed my skin so putting cleaning products and massage oil on it didn't hurt or irritate the wound at all. Certainly one I will always keep in my personal first aid kit.                  

 

 

The hand and thumb below depicts where the liver reflex point is; this can be found on the dorsal and (because of its size) the plantar aspect too. Imagine a quarter of a coin with both straight edges on the diaphragm line at the top and the other down the edge of the foot. The curve joining the 2 corresponds to the lobe shape of the liver. Work this area both sides with small impressions.  Helichrysum is believed to help cholesterol levels and gall bladder infections; so learning how to boost the liver would be advantageous too for helping the body to heal such conditions.  If we consider the colour of this flower it makes sense that its vibration would boost the organs in the solar plexus area as this radiates yellow.
