F is for Frankincense

A favourite for the advent calendar we did last year but still a must try for the rest of the year too as it may help our cellular health. Doterra's research tested the affect of Frankincense on our bio markers in the body. Oxidative stress is like rust for our cells. Frankincense may act like a cellular shield helping quench free radicals before they can cause damage. This is done by supporting Apoptosis a process to remove damaged cells without causing an overstimulated inflammatory response. Find out more here:

Taking the research of Doterra on board and being alert of any tightness or restriction felt around my upper torso - breast or upper back since finding I carry the Brca2 gene; I put together a blend that includes Frankincense to relieve this tension. As the research study above shows Frankincense has an affinity with cell apoptosis and I knew pink pepper has been describes as keeping cells healthy too I blended these plus one more. The latter has the additional adage of being pink and with that vibration connects beautifully with organs in the heart chakra (located in the upper chest). I found within a day or two the tension dissipated every time; 3rd oil described shortly..

The diagram next shows the reflex area for chest and breast area that can also be found on the dorsal aspect of the hand but this aspect makes it easier to locate...join the two palmistry lines together horizontally found just under the arrows seen on the hand here. Work both vertically as shown and horizontally up to the fingers; on both aspects. This will also help relieve tension and help if suffering from any weakness in the lungs.
